20 May, Kuching: JDT prove that they are the powerhouse of Malaysian football after trashing home team Kuching City FC (KCFC) 4-0 in the 2023 Liga Super match played at Stadium Negeri Kuching last night.

From the starting whistle, JDT controlled the game with individual brilliance and nice passes and it took them only three minutes to notch their first goal through Fernando Forestieri who dribbled past a few KCFC players before slotting in beating KCFC keeper Shaiful Wazizi.

JDT continue to dominate the game after the first goal creating numerous chances and in the 36th minutes, Fernando Forestieri once again put his name on the score sheet with a simple goal after receiving a cross through a free kick by his teammate. JDT continue to push in search for another goal but KCFC defense stood firm to deny them any chances until the first half ended.

After the breather, KCFC tried to match JDT with a different and a more positive game approach but a mistake in the 70th minute cost them dearly with JDT's hotshot striker, Bergson Da Silva scoring after receiving a through pass.
