KCFC And TFC Share Points

23 June, KUCHING: Kuching City FC only managed a 1-1 draw against visitors Terengganu FC in a Liga Super match played at the Stadium Negeri, Kuching.


In a wet pitch after a downpour in Kuching, KCFC started the first half controlling the game and were gifted with numerous chances to score but failed to do so due to poor finishing.

The first half ended in a stalemate for both teams.


The second half started with the visitors trying to penetrate the home side defense and they were rewarded in the 51 minutes when Safawi Rashid converted a penalty kick to put his team ahead.

Unperturbed, KCFC players raided TFC goal in search for an equaliser but found TFC defense a hard nut to crack. However, KCFC managed to snatch the equaliser in the 80 minutes through Yuki Tanigawa after a lapse of concentration in TFC defense.

The match ended 1-1 after the referee blew the final whistle
